To support and contribute to the development of LNG initiatives also on a local scale, ASSOCOSTIERI recently joined as a partner to the Protocol for the promotion, dissemination and implementation and social acceptance of a liquefied natural gas distribution network in Liguria.
The main actors of the Protocol are the Region, the Port Authority, the Municipality of Genoa and the Fire Fighters.

LNG is one of the technical solutions identified to meet the environmental disposals set by the IMO that will come into force from the next 1st of January.
